At approximately 9:30am this morning, a 20" Water Main break occured in the area of 365 S. Central Ave (Archway Plaza).
As a result, residents in the Hartsdale Community have been experiencing a loss in water and water pressure in their homes and businesses.

The Greenburgh Water Department has been notified and is on scene working on mitigating the problem, which could take several more hours. There were a few areas of low lying flooding below the break, which are now under control.

Due to the loss of water to the Hartsdale Fire District, two Tanker Trucks with 2750 gallons of water each were called in from our Mutual Aid Departments to proactively provide us with a positive water source in the case of Fire Emergency.
