The Hartsdale Fire Department Baby Sitting Class, currently in its 45th year, held a graduation ceremony for the current class at Station 2 on Tuesday evening, October 3, 2017.

This year’s class had 23 students and since its inception the program has trained more than 1300 babysitters.

With an emphasis on safety and fire prevention, the course teaches students how to handle different emergency situations through classroom and actual hands on training. Photo by Alan Zale
