Hartsdale Firefighters manned the Underhill Road and Heatherdell Road overpasses above the Sprain Brook Parkway on Saturday afternoon, October 2nd, to pay respect to New York City Deputy Fire Chief Michael Fahy, whose funeral procession was passing up the parkway. Many other off duty members attended the funeral for Deputy Chief Fahy in Yonkers. Deputy Chief Fahy was killed in the line of duty in the Bronx earlier in the week, when a house exploded while investigating a gas leak. TL-15 had an American flag raised above the Underhill Road overpass as the funeral procession proceeded to Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY . Photo by Alan Zale
