At 21:42 hours a structure fire was reported at 23 Canterbury Road in the Fairview Fire District. Engine 170 responded on the initial call along with Fairview's Full Assignment. FFD units arrived on scene and confirmed a fire in the basement division at that location. Fairview members quickly stretched a line and extinguished the fire. Engine 170 with three members assisted Fairview with ventilation, as well as salvage and overhaul. 2171 also responded and acted as HFD's Safety Officer. Units went under control and began returning at 22:29 hrs.
