On Wednesday, August 12, 2015, members of the Hartsdale and Fairview Fire Departments as well as members of the Greenburgh Police Department spent the day reviewing multiple rope rescue skills. These skills included anchoring, ropes and knots, mechanical advantage, patient packaging, and pickoffs to name a few. This was the monthly drill for the Greenburgh Technical Rescue Team, prior months training have included Swift Water Rescue, Trench Rescue and Confined Space Rescue.
