This morning, a new kitchen table was received by the Hartsdale Paid Firemen's Benevolent. This table was a detailed process which occurred over the last 2 years which involved the input from all of our members. After much searching from different vendors, Wall Shields Co. out of Aberdeen Maryland was selected. This table was designed for our Station 1 which includes some of our culture including the Hartsdale Department Patch, a newly rendered Hartsdale maltese cross which was designed by our members, the International Association of Firefighters maltese cross, and Engine 170, which is the engine which responds out of that station. It also has an inscription dedicated to the memory of the late Deputy Chief Joseph Kelley who passed away in 2013, and whose family donated money for the purchase of the table. Our members are proud of our new table and look forward to its service for many years to come.
