At 1323hrs, E-170 was dispatched as an additional company with Fairview for a reported structure fire at 28 Tomahawk Drive. Fairview units arrived on scene and a 10-75 assignment was requested by E-176's officer. It was reported by command that all residents were out of the structure. The fire was located on the "D" side, exterior of the structure. Upon arrival, members of E-170 assisted Fairview E-174's crew with stretching an 1 3/4" handline to the side of the structure which quickly knocked down the fire. A 24' Extension ladder was thrown to conduct overhaul and check for any extension under the siding. E-170 also checked the basement for extension which was negative. The fire was contained to the exterior siding of the structure. Car 2171 assumed Safety Officer operations during the incident. E-170 and Car 2171 were released from the scene at 1411hrs and returned to Hartsdale.
