Engine 170 Mutual Aid to Greenville for a MVA Extrication

At approximately 1110Hrs Greenville Fire was dispatched to a MVA with reported extrication. Car 2151 arrived on scene and confirmed a two car MVA with one person trapped and one vehicle resting on the second vehicle. Car 2151 requested Hartsdale Engine 170 to the scene as Greenville SQ-15 and Ladder 4 stretched a precautionary line and began stabilization. Greenville units assisted by Engine 170's crew completed stabilization with multiple pieces of wood cribbing and struts. Greenville members then completed the removal of the drivers side door thus providing patient access for EMS. Units stood by until the tow companies removed the vehicle. Engine 170 cleared at 1203Hrs.
