Greenburgh Central School District held their annual STEAM fair for the 4th through 6th graders at RJ Bailey School. STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math. Chief Reiss from the Fairview Fire Department and Chief Rush from the Hartsdale Fire Department participated in the program, demonstrating how technology fuels some of the key equipment used in firefighting. In particular, the students were shown Thermal Imaging Cameras and Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. The students showed a high level of intelligence and asked some very good questions.
