The Annual Hartsdale Fire Department Memorial Day Parade, honoring those who gave their lives defending our country while in the military service, took place on Monday, May 28, 2018. The day started with a wreath laying ceremony at the Hartsdale train station plaza, followed by the parade that proceeded along East Hartsdale Avenue, finishing at Station 1 on Central Avenue. The Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts marched in the parade, along with the members of the Hartsdale Fire Department and Greenville Fire Company. Residents and on lookers lined each side of East Hartsdale Avenue to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. Photos by Alan Zale.
