The Hartsdale Fire District Held its Annual Commissioners Election last evening. The election is held annually with one commissioner running each year for a 5 year term. This year there was a full five year term open as well as a two year term due to a vacancy.

The five year term was uncontested with Mr. Peter Woods being elected to the board of fire commissioners

The two year term was a contested election with Commissioner Robert Iamonico being challenged by Mrs. Mona Fraitag.

The members of the Hartsdale Fire District wish to congratulate Commissioner Iamonico and Mr. Woods on their Victory's as well as to thank all the citizens who came out to vote.
